PRESENT SIMPLE

 PRESENT SIMPLE

We use present simple to talk about habits, routines and things that are always true.

Remember to add –s to the verb for he/she/it. For example:

She works in London.

To form the negative, we use don’t/doesn’t + the infinitive.

They don't work at the weekend.
John doesn't live in Manchester.

We use do and does to make questions with the present simple.

Where do Angela and Rita live?
When does Rita usually get up?
